Overview
Located in the Himalayas, Vaishno Devi Temple holds special significance in the Hindu religion. Believed to be an incarnation of Maa Shakti, Maa Vaishno Devi is supposed to be a combination of the energies of Maha Kali Maha Saraswati and Mahalaxmi. Vaishno Devi Darshan is of great importance in Hindu mythology and each year hundreds of thousands of pilgrims come to Vaishno Devi to quench their spiritual thirst. Pilgrims are ready to undertake the excruciatingly difficult 12 kilometer Yatra from the base of the Trikuta Mountains in Katra to the Vaishno Devi shrine to get a glimpse of goddess Vaishno Devi.
The cave is located at a height of 5300 feet and contains three stones (Pindis) each one depicting goddess Mahalakshmi, Maha Kali and Maha Saraswati.
Our Vaishno Devi helicopter ride package in 2022 has been specially curated for pilgrims who are unable to trek 12 kilometers. We will start from Katra and then you will be transferred to a helipad that will take you to Sanjichhat, from Sanjichhat you will complete a short trek to reach Vaishno Devi temple.
